KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />October 7, 2025 <br />Request to Approve a Notice of Call for Sealed <br />Bids to furnish Snow & Ice Control Products for <br />Calendar Year 2026. <br />BACKGROUND: Annually, Kittitas County Public Works goes out to <br />bid for the furnishing of specific Snow & Ice <br />Products in accordance with specifications. <br />Bid specifications will continue to include a notice <br />regarding the handling of fuel escalation as seen in <br />the previous contract cycles. <br />A Notice of Call for Bids is noticed in the <br />newspaper of record. <br />Bids will be opened on October 23, 2025, at 2:00 <br />p.m., in the Public Works Department. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Move to approve Notice of Call for Sealed bids to <br />furnish Snow & Ice Control Products for 2026. <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) copy to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Notice of Call for Bids; Bid Packet <br />LEAD STAFF: Josh Fredrickson, Director <br />
