BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2025-_______ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CLOSURE OF THE <br />KITTITAS VALLEY EVENT CENTER OFFICE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners has the authority, pursuant to RCW <br />36.16.100, to approve changes by resolution in the days and hours that County <br />offices shall be kept open for the transaction of business; and <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas Valley Event Center (KVEC) office has requested that the department <br />be closed to the public from December 1st to December 5th of this year; and <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of the closure is to allow KVEC staff to attend training; and <br />WHEREAS, KVEC operations not involving the office will be open for business as usual; and <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners authorizes said closure of KVEC by <br />action taken at a regular or special meeting. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas <br />County, Washington, hereby approves and authorizes a change to the hours of <br />service for the Kittitas Valley Event Center office such that the department will be <br />closed to the public from December 1, 2025 to December 5, 2025. <br /> <br />DATED this 7th day of October, 2025, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Cory Wright, Vice-Chairman <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Brett Wachsmith, Commissioner <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />_____________________________ <br />☐ Clerk of the Board <br />☐ Deputy Clerk of the Board
