<br /> <br />Public Health Study Session <br />August 27th, 2025 <br />at 10:00 am <br />Commissioners’ Conference Room <br />Meeting Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />Present: Laura Osiadacz (chair), Brett Wachsmith, Cory Wright <br />Absent: N/A <br />Others: Emma Madland (Clerk), Chelsey Loeffers, Jesse Cox, Dr. Mark Larson, Kate Johnson, Stephanie <br />Hartung, Jamey Ayling, Chad Bala <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 10:00am by Laura Osiadacz <br />All present gave a brief introduction. <br /> <br />Other Business <br /> <br />Executive Session A. <br />Chairman Osiadacz announced a 15-minute Executive Session at 10:01 AM under RCW 42.30.110 (i). <br />They met to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency matters relating to agency enforcement <br />actions, or to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency litigation or potential litigation to which <br />the agency, the governing body, or a member acting in an official capacity is, or is likely to become, a <br />party, when public knowledge regarding the discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial <br />consequence to the agency. At 10:16 AM the board requested an additional 5 minutes. <br />At 10:21 AM the board reconvened out of Executive Session. No action was taken. <br /> <br />Executive Session B. <br />Chairman Osiadacz announced a 2-minute Executive Session at 10:22 AM under RCW 42.30.110 (i). They <br />met to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency matters relating to agency enforcement <br />actions, or to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency litigation or potential litigation to which <br />the agency, the governing body, or a member acting in an official capacity is, or is likely to become, a <br />party, when public knowledge regarding the discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial <br />consequence to the agency. At 10:24 AM the board reconvened out of Executive Session. <br /> <br />Motion 08.01: Cory Wright moved to approve the next step in Opioid Abatement project as discussed. <br />Brett Wachsmith second. All approved. Motion 08.01 carried. <br /> <br />Citizen Comment (1 minute time limit)-None <br />
