RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZEEXECUTION OF AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN KITTITAS COUNTY AND THE WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT <br />OF COMMERCE <br />WHEREAS, RCW 39.34,the Interlocal Cooperation Act, provides the capability for public <br />agencies to cooperate for mutual advantage; and <br />WHEREAS' Kittitas County, through the Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD), <br />is charged with the preservation, promotion, and improvement of health in the <br />County; and <br />WHEREAS, one of the many ways KCPHD preserves and promotes health improvements is by <br />overseeing the homeless and affordable housing committee; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to State law, document recording fees are dedicated to funding homeless <br />and affordable housing programs; and <br />WHEREAS, as detailed in the attached interlocal agreement, the Washington State Department <br />of Commerce is providing funding to Kittitas County for the specific purposes <br />outlined in the agreement related to homeless and affordable housing programs. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas <br />County, Washington, hereby authorizes execution of the attached interlocal agreement with the <br />Washington State Department of Commerce. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />day of <br />COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTIONNo.202s-M <br />fu ffrn'btt,2025,a1 Ellensburg, washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />DATED thiS 2,LA <br />SLAL <br />co <br />7 <br />of the Board
