BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNW OF KITTITAS STATE OFWASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025-iSLl <br />Resotution to Approve an lnterlocaI Agreement between Kittitas Gounty and Kittitas <br />Gounty Fire District #2to have Kittitas County Fire District #2 process their own Accounts <br />Payabte and Payrotl warrants, lndependent of the Kittitas Gounty Auditor's Office Warrant <br />Processing System <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County Fire District #2 has had its own accounting system which is futty <br />capabte of printing checks for accounts payabte and payrott; and <br />WHEREAS, the Washington State Auditor per RCW 43.09.230 has stated that the Kittitas <br />County Auditor and Kittitas County Treasurer can authorize Kittitas County Fire District #2to <br />print its own checks for accounts payabl,e and payrott using an imprest banking account; and <br />WHEREAS, this lntertocal Agreement is entered into under the authority of and in conformity <br />with the lntertocaI Cooperation Act, chapter 39.34 RCW; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Kittitas County Commissioners constitutes the tegistative authority of <br />Kittitas County and deems this to be in the best interest of the County; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE lT RESOLVED that the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners hereby <br />approves and shatt execute the attached lnterlocaI Agreement between Kittitas County and <br />Kittitas County Fire District #2 to have Kittitas County Fire District #2 process their own accounts <br />payabte and payrott independent of the Kittitas County Auditor's Office warrant processing <br />system. <br />Dated this -Ln*^u.+ gtfn+bg{'2025, at Etl.ensburg, washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />, WASHINGTON <br />Cterk of the Board - Jutie Kjorsvik <br />I Deputy Cterk qf the Board - Mandy Buchhotz Co , Vice- <br />2rr <br />tt ty <br />T <br />Brett S , Commissioner
