BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2025- O O T <br />ADOPTION OF THE KITTITAS COUNTY CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT <br />PROGRAM FOR THE PLANNING PERIOD 2026.203I <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County opted into the Growth Management Act, RCW 36.70A, voluntarily <br />on December 27,1990, through Resolution 90-138; and <br />WIIEREAS: Kittitas County adopted the Kittitas County Comprehensive Plan in August of 1996, <br />and the Capital Facilities Plan was adopted as part of the Comprehensive Plan; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County amended the Comprehensive Plan in 2001 to adopt the six-year <br />Capital Improvement Program through a process separate from the annual <br />comprehensive plan amendment process and any changes made are adopted by <br />reference to the Kittitas County Comprehensive Plan at adoption; and <br />WIIEREAS: The Kittitas County Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on June 10, <br />2025 to consider the six-year Capital Improvement Program for the planning period <br />2026-2031; and <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Commissioners conducted a public hearing on August 5,2025 to <br />consider the six-year Capital Improvement Program for the planning period 2026- <br />2031; and <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Commissioners considered public testimony at said public <br />hearing and approved the Capital Improvement Program for the planning period <br />2026-203r. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED That the Board of County Commissioners after due <br />deliberation and in the best interest of the public, does hereby approve the six-year Capital <br />Improvement Program for the planning period 2026-2031as attached hereto. <br />ADOPTED this 5th day of August,2025 <br />BOARI)TIIITY COMMISSIONERS <br />WASHINGTON <br />Capital I mprovement Plan 2026-203t <br />Page | 1 <br />) <br />August 5, 2025
