BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS, STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2025-________ <br /> <br />A Resolution authorizing execution of an interlocal agreement between Washington State University <br />and Kittitas County, Washington for contracted banking services <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, RCW 39.34, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, provides the capability for public <br />agencies to cooperate by providing piggybacking options on awarded contracts; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the County Treasurer published a Request for Proposal for Banking Services on <br />March 1st, 2024, and awarded the contract to US Bank, beginning September 1 st, 2024; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Washington State University wishes to piggyback on the terms of the contract the <br />Kittitas County Treasurer awarded to US Bank for Banking services, through September 1 st, 2027; and <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, <br />Washington authorizes the execution of the Interlocal Agreement for the Piggybacking of Contracted <br />Banking Services that is attached hereto, and incorporated herein by this reference, and which shall be <br />forthwith filed with the Kittitas County Auditor pursuant to RCW 39.34.040. <br /> <br />Adopted this _________day of ___________________, 2025 <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> _______________________________________ <br /> Laura Osiadacz, Chair <br />__________________________________ <br />o Clerk of the Board – Julie Kjorsvik <br />o Deputy Clerk of the Board – Mandy Buchholz _______________________________________ <br /> Cory Wright, Vice-Chair <br /> <br /> _______________________________________ <br /> Brett Wachsmith, Commissioner <br />
