Kittitas County <br />Public Health Department <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />September 2, 2025 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves a Resolution authorizing the execution of an <br />Interlocal Agreement between Kittitas County and Washinton State Department of Commerce. <br />(Effective dates: 07/01/2025-06/30/2027) <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Interagency agreement is established for document recording fee backfill funds for <br />"maintaining programs and investments" under local homeless housing plans and affordable <br />housing under RCW 36.22..178. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Kittitas County Prosecutors: Reviewed and approved August 8, 2025. <br />Kittitas County Auditors: Reviewed and approved August 12, 2025. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves a Resolution authorizing the execution of an <br />Interlocal Agreement between Kittitas County and Washinton State Department of Commerce. <br />(Effective dates: 07/01/2025-06/30/2027) <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br />N/A <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Kasey Knutson
