BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO.2025- <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN KITTITAS COUNTY AND HOPESOURCE FOR PEARL STREET <br />AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROJECT FUNDING <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County, through the Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD), <br />is charged with the preservation, promotion, and improvement of health in the <br />County; and <br />WHEREAS, ensuring available and affordable housing for vulnerable populations aligns with <br />the objectives of KCPHD and <br />WHEREAS, HopeSource, a local nonprofit with many years of service to Kittitas County has <br />the capacity and knowledge to provide housing opportunities to vulnerable <br />populations and is requesting grant funds from the County to help fund an 8 unit <br />property currently under construction in Cle Elum that will be available to tenants <br />with an income that does not exceed 60 percent Area Medium Income; and <br />WHEREAS, the Parties agree these services should be delivered in the manner detailed in the <br />agreement, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas <br />County, Washington, hereby authorizes the Kittitas County Public Health <br />Department to execute an Agreement with HopeSource that is attached hereto, and <br />incorporated herein by reference. <br />DATED this day of _ , 2025, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Chair <br />Vice -Chair <br />Commissioner <br />ATTEST: <br />Clerk of the Board <br />
