BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF'KITTITAS <br />STATE OF'WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025 -I LL <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON THE LOCAL AGENCY FEDERAL <br />AID PROJECT PROSPECTUS CONSTRUCTION PHASE FOR THE HUNTZINGER <br />ROAD SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS PHASE 1 PROJECT CRP 318.23 <br />WHEREAS: The Huntzinger Road Safety Improvements Phase 1 Project was awarded Federal <br />Funding through the 2023 Highway Safety Improvement Program; and <br />WHEREAS: The Federal Funding will be used for the construction phase; and <br />WHEREAS:In preparation to advertise for construction, Kittitas County Public Works is <br />requesting the Washington State Department of Transportation release the <br />Federal Funds for construction; and <br />WHEREAS:A Local Agency Federal Aid Project Prospectus must be executed by the Chair <br />of the Board of County Commissioners acknowledging the project has been <br />reviewed and is consistent with the County's comprehensive plan for community <br />development; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby approve the Chair's signature on the Local <br />Agency Federal Aid Project Prospectus for the Huntzinger Road Safety <br />Improvements Phase I Project CRP 318-23. <br />DATED on this lTth day of June 2025, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY , WASHINGTO}I <br />Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Wright, <br />rr- <br />7 <br />i <br />col <br />urr <br />SI"AL <br />% <br />n Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Brett W lssloner
