KITTITAS COUNTY AIRPORT.BOWERS FIELD <br />Lease Addendum <br />THIS ADDENDUM TO LEASE is made and dated this -4 ay of, t I w I t4 ,2025,----t. <br />by and between KITTITAS COUNTY, a municipal corporation in the State of Washington, <br />hereinafter referred to as the LESSOR, and KITTCOM, and hereinafter referred to as the <br />LESSEE. <br />WITNESSETH <br />WHEREAS, LESSOR and LESSEE entered into a Lease on October 6, 1998, a copy of <br />which is attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein; and <br />WHEREAS, LESSOR and LESSEE amended the lease through an addendum on <br />October 7 , 2003 , a copy of which is attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein; <br />and <br />WIilREAS, LESSOR and LESSEE amended the lease through an addendum on <br />February 17,2004, a copy of which is attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, LESSOR and LESSEE amended the lease through an addendum on <br />December 30,2019, a copy of which is attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, accordingtoParugraph 2B "Adjustment of Rental" of the lease, it states <br />"the lease rate shall increase by 15% each year of this lease amendment and compared against <br />the Consumer Price Index"; and <br />WHEREAS, per Paragraph 2B "Adjustment of Rental", the lease rate was not re- <br />adjusted and fixed per the required timeline due to staff oversight; and <br />WHEREAS, upon researching the CPI index compared to the standard 1.5% increase it <br />was discovered that the 1.5Yo standard annual increase controlled; and <br />WHEREAS, the lease addendum states thatal.5o/o rate increase is to occur annually <br />until the next review period; and <br />WIIEREAS, this Lease Addendum hereby satisfies the Paragraph 28'Adjustment of <br />Rental" clause per the lease terms. <br />Lease Addendum (5) - Kittcom May 2025 Page 1
