KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />ACTION REQUESTED <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />June 17, 2025 <br />Request to Set a Public Hearing for July 1, 2025, at <br />2:00 pm local time to consider a Lease with Paul <br />Hutchinson for Hay Cover Storage Buildings <br />located on Goodwin Road. <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County recently acquired property with Hay <br />Cover Storage not utilized by the current <br />agricultural tenant and has received inquiries from <br />parties interested in leasing the facilities. These <br />storage facilities are located at Parcel No. 505933. <br />INTERACTION: <br />Public Works advertised a Notice of Call for Sealed <br />Bids on May 22 and May 29, 2025, in the <br />newspaper of record with sealed bids due on June 6, <br />2025, at 9:00 am. One (1) bid was received and <br />deemed responsive.
