KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: June 17, 2025 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of <br />an Interlocal Agreement between Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of <br />Natural Resources. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: This purpose of this Agreement is to specially commission DNR <br />limited authority law enforcement officers in Kittitas County in compliance with the <br />requirements of the Washington Mutual Aid Peace Officers Powers Act (chapter 10.93 <br />RCW) and the Interlocal Cooperation Act, (chapter 39.34 RCW) <br /> <br /> <br />INTERACTION: This Agreement was reviewed and approved by the Kittitas County <br />Prosecutor’s Office <br /> <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of an <br />Interlocal Agreement between Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of <br />Natural Resources. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return one signed Resolution to the Sheriff’s Office. The Sheriff’s <br />Office will provide one signed agreement upon receiving signature from DNR. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Command Staff
