Ruby St., Suite 2, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />CDS@CO.KITTITAS.WA.US <br />Office (509) 962-7506 <br /> <br /> <br />“Building Partnerships – Building Communities” <br /> <br />BOCC AGENDA <br />STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: June 17, 2025 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: BOCC Signature of mylar granting final approval for the McAllister Plat (LP-23- <br />00003 & LPF-25-00003). <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Preliminary Plat was approved by the Hearings Examiner on November 20, <br />2023 with findings of fact and conclusions of law as required by KCC 16.36 and <br />KCC 16.12. The plat covers approximately 11.27 acres accessed via Yellowstone <br />Road. <br /> <br /> The applicant submitted the final plat application on April 25, 2025, requesting final <br />mylar approval for the McAllister Plat. This Plat creates a total of 5 lots. The <br />proposed lots range in size from 37,779 square feet to 337,653 square feet. Staff <br />reviewed the final mylar with supporting documentation and finds that it is consistent <br />with the preliminary approval documents. The mylar has been reviewed by all <br />reviewing departments, and all signatures have been obtained. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Board of Commissioners, Community Development Services, Public Works, Public <br />Health, and Assessor’s Office. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Signature of the BOCC Chair on the mylar for final plat approval of the McAllister <br />Plat (LP-23-00003 & LPF-25-00003). <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return signed mylar to staff for transmittal to authorized agent for Treasurer <br />signature and recording. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Final mylar for McAllister Plat (LP-23-00003 & LPF-25-00003), Hearings Examiner <br />decision LP-23-00003. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Zach Torrance-Smith, Planner I
