MAY 28, 2025 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz, Vice Chairman Cory <br />Wright, Commissioner Brett Wachsmith. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Office Administrator; Amy McGuffin, <br />CEO/President - Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce; Lisa Bugni, <br />LTAC Clerk; Bryan Elliott, County Auditor; Roylene Crawford, LTAC <br />member; Jessica Karraker, LTAC member; Matt Anderson, Chamber <br />Director of Business Development - Tourism. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING LTAC PRESENTATION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Laura Osiadacz opened a Special Meeting with <br />the County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) to receive an <br />update on the Capital Process and a presentation of the Strategic <br />Plan. <br /> <br />Bryan Elliott, Auditor outlined the Large Capital process update. He <br />stated that the Committee has approved the application, and a Press <br />Release will be going out soon, as well as an RFP that will outline <br />the funds that the County Lodging Tax is wishing to distribute. <br /> <br />Amy McGuffin, CEO/President of the Kittitas County Chamber of <br />Commerce, provided a packet of DRAFT materials for the Community <br />Outreach Plan that shows the project timeline, a preview of the <br />press release, and options for different materials to be used for <br />the outreach effort. <br /> <br />Chairman Osiadacz reviewed the Strategic Plan that the County’s LTAC <br />recently approved and that will be coming to the Board for final <br />approval. She stated that once this is approved by the Board they <br />can begin distributing funds. There was discussion on adding a <br />legend or appendices to the pages with heat maps. <br /> <br />Vice-Chairman Wright asked that in Phase II, the LTAC could work on <br />incorporating all recreation/tourism plans so they all work <br />together. <br /> <br />The Board agreed to meetings twice a year with the LTAC to receive <br />updates. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:56 a.m. <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
