BOARD OF COT]NTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COIMITY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />No.2o2s- gm- <br />AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS WATER RESOURCE MANAGER TO ACCEPT <br />FUIIDING FROM TI{E WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF'ECOLOGY AND SIGN <br />GRANT AGREEMENT NO. WRYBIP-2325.KiCPWD.OOO72 <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works, the Kittitas Reclamation District, the Washington <br />Department of firft and Wildlife and the Yakama Nation requested $740,000 in <br />funding from the Department of Ecology for Springwood Ranch land <br />managemsnt and Planning; and <br />WHEREAS: The Department of Ecology has awarded grant funding for these purposes and is <br />preparing Grant Agreement No. WRYB lP -2325 -KiCPWD-O0 07 2; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works, the Kittitas Reclamation District, the Washington <br />Department of Fish and Wildlife and the YakamaNation will work <br />collaboratively to implement the scope of work authorized and funded by the <br />grant agreement; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works, the Kittitas Reclamation District, the Washington <br />Department of Fish and Wildlife and the Yakama Nation would like Kittitas <br />County Public Works to hold Grant AgreementNo. WRYBIP-2325-KiCPWD- <br />00072. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby authorize the Public Works Water Resource Manager to <br />accept funding from the Washington State Department of Ecology and sign funding agreement <br />WRYBIP-23 2 5 -KiCPWD -0001 2. <br />DA 20ft day of May 2025, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COLINTY, WASHINGTON <br />an <br />n Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />ffOeputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />cory <br />r;crL-rG \ <br />Brett lssroner
