I<ITTITA.SI (C(OIINTTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />TO Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners <br />January 29r2025 <br />Ryan Bergeo Maintenance Manager <br />Candie Leader, Contracts Specialist <br />DATE: <br />FROM: <br />CC <br />RE Special Event Application - GRiT - Snoqualmie Pass <br />After reviewing the special event application submitted by Erik Olson to host GRiT - <br />Snoqualmie Pass to be held on July 19,2025, Kittitas County Public Works requires the <br />following: <br />Two (2) Week notice in the Northern Kittitas County Tribune and Daily Record to give residents <br />and the traveling public notice of the event. <br />Placement of "Cyclists on Roadway" and "Caution - Cyclists Ahead" related signage placed on <br />Kachess Lake Road on the day of the event. <br />Flaggers and/or Traffic Control on Kachess Lake Road where participants are entering and <br />exiting the roadway. <br />Kittitas County Public Works recommends approval of this event based on the information and <br />proposal submitted, along with the conditions mentioned above. <br />Feel free to contact Kittitas County Public Works with any additional questions at 509-962-1523 <br />411 N.
