Kittitas County <br />Solid Waste <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />5/20/2025 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Request Board approval for Chairs signature on Amendment No. 3 with Parametrix. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Kittitas County Solid Waste operates the Ryegrass Facility with several permits from the Health Department <br />and the Department of Ecology. These permits require the Solid Waste Department to retain an engineering <br />firm to assist with groundwater monitoring, well location, testing, and development of new site specific land <br />application plan needed for our biosolids permit application. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Solid Waste, and Parametrix <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Recommend Board of County Commissioners approval of Chairs signature on Amendment No. 3. <br /> <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br />Return signed copy to Solid Waste <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Patti Stacey <br />
