KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA ITEM STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: May 20, 2025 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing on June 3, 2025, at 2:00 pm local <br />time to consider Equipment surplus to Kittitas County's needs and <br />authorize disposal of same in accordance with RCW 36.34.080. <br />BACKGROUND: The following equipment is surplus to the county's needs: <br />EQ# 271 2010 John Deere 772G Motor Grader <br />VIN# 1DW772GXHAO633219 <br />The Department of Public Works requests that a Public Hearing be <br />held June 3, 2025, at 2:00 pm local time to declare the above -listed <br />equipment surplus to the county's needs and authorize disposal of <br />same. The Department of Public Works plans to surplus the <br />equipment in accordance with RCW 36.34.080. <br />Equipment replacement was covered by Public Works funds in 2025. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing for June 3, 2025, at 2:00 pm local time to <br />consider equipment surplus to the county's needs and authorize <br />disposal of same. <br />HANDLING: Department of Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Notice of Public Hearing. <br />LEAD STAFF: Cameron Curtis, County Engineer <br />
