RESOLUTION <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025-________ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF CLE ELUM AND THE KITTITAS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE, FOR <br />THE LEASE OF REAL PROPERTY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Parties are public agencies, as defined in RCW 39.34.020, who wish to <br />enter into an Agreement pursuant to Chapter 39.34 RCW, the Washington <br />Interlocal Cooperation Act; and <br />WHEREAS, The City of Cle Elum offered to house the Search and Rescue Program <br />within its old Public Works shop facility while the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office <br />finalizes the development of a permanent facility for Search and Rescue; and <br />WHEREAS, The Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office agreed to rental terms which included <br />the rental rate of twenty-five hundred dollars ($2,500.00) per month, and a lease <br />term of two years; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Kittitas County, Washington authorizes the execution of the Interlocal <br />Agreement between The City of Cle Elum and Kittitas County for the lease of real property <br />which shall be filed pursuant to RCW 39.34.040. <br />ADOPTED this day of 2025. <br /> <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br /> <br /> <br /> Brett Wachsmith, Vice-Chairman <br /> <br /> <br /> Cory Wright, Commissioner <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />_______________________ <br /> <br />☐ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />☐ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz
