KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: May 20, 2025 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve the Kittitas County Comprehensive <br />Emergency Management Plan Executive Summary. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan <br />(CEMP) is for officials who will provide emergency management preceding, during, and <br />following any disaster. It gives these officials the policies, information, <br />recommendations, and guidance they need to make effective operational decisions. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan <br />has been reviewed by the Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve the Kittitas County Comprehensive <br />Emergency Management Plan Executive Summary <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return a signed copy to the Sheriff’s Office. <br /> <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Darren Higashiyama
