KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />May 20, 2025 <br />Request to Approve a Notice of Call for Sealed Bids for <br />Goodwin Road Hay Cover Storage Lease <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County recently acquired property with Hay Cover <br />Storage not utilized by the current agricultural tenant and <br />has received inquiries from parties interested in leasing the <br />facilities. These storage facilities are located at Parcel No. <br />505933. Public Works would like to offer these storage <br />facilities for lease for hay storage only. Responsive bidders <br />will need to submit a cattle exclusion plan approved by the <br />current agricultural tenant. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Notice of Call for Sealed Bids for Goodwin <br />Road Hay Cover Storage Lease. <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) copy to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Notice of Call for Sealed Bids; Bid Packet <br />LEAD STAFF: Arden Thomas, Water Resources Manager <br />
