2025-03-20 MINUTES 1 <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />FINANCE STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />COMMISSIONERS AUDITORIUM, 205 WEST 5TH - ELLENSBURG <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />THURSDAY 1:30PM MARCH 20, 2025 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz attended via Webex, Commissioner Brett <br />Wachsmith, Commissioner Cory Wright, Absent <br />Staff Present: Brian Carlson, Auditors Finance Director, Bryan Elliott, Auditor, Amy <br />Cziske, Treasurer, Kylee Wuesthoff, Zack DeHaven, Sue Patterson <br /> Josh Fredrickson, Reid Burbank, Zane Kinney, Grant Shimada, Patti <br />Stacey, Solid Waste <br /> <br /> <br />1. Call to Order: 1:30PM <br />2. Citizen Comments - NONE <br />3. Central Services Committee Year-End 2024 Report <br />Mr. Carlson gave a summary of the CSC report reflecting the year end 2024. <br /> <br />4. 2026 Budget Priorities- Follow up discussion from March 17th, 2025 <br />Mr. Carlson discussed the need for Commissioner priorities for the 2026 Budget. <br /> <br />5. Consideration of Congressionally Directed Spending Requests for FY 2026 <br />Josh Fredrickson from Public Works is selecting 3 or 4 projects to submit applications for <br />possible funding with the Congressionally Directed Spending for the federal fiscal year 2026. <br />Projects under consideration are the Transfer Station, EOC, I-90 Expansion and a new body <br />scanner for the jail. Project under $5M are preferred. Two letters of support and recommendation <br />from the public are required. <br /> <br />6. EOC Project-Removed from Agenda <br />A brief overview of the topic was discussed and was determined to be discussed at a future <br />meeting when all board members were present. Josh Fredrickson will be responsible for <br />scheduling the meeting. <br />
