BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ALGORITHM AND DISTRIBUTION FOR <br />DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES MILLAGE FUNDING TO CURRENT <br />DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES ADMINISTRATION SUBCONTRACTORS <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025-ffi2-, <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 71.20.110, Kittitas County has levied an annual <br />tax to collect funds for the coordination and provision of community <br />services for persons with developmental disabilities or mental health <br />selices, hereby referred to as "millage"; and <br />WHEREAS, resolution2024-090 authorizes the allocation for millage tax revenue to the <br />Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD); and <br />WHEREAS, KCPHD has finalized a policy for developmental disabilities-specific <br />millage that includes policy planning from KCPHD, Kittitas County <br />Prosecutor, and a representative from the Developmental Disabilities <br />Advisory Committee; and <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners (BOCC) has the discretion <br />for the use of millage funding; and <br />WHEREAS,the BOCC wishes to fund cunent Developmental Disabilities <br />Administration (DDA) employment and day services subcontractors to <br />supplement services and activities that are not funded through other <br />sources; and <br />WHEREAS, the BOCC approved a funding algorithm presented by KCPHD on <br />February 26,2025 during the regularly scheduled public health study <br />session. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners <br />hereby adopts the algorithm and funding distribution found in Exhibit A for the use of <br />2024 developmental disabilities millage tax revenue to DDA subcontractors for <br />employment and day services. <br />r5haun or ft?ri\ ,orr.ADOPTED ThiS L- <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
