<br /> <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />NO.: 2025- <br /> <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A RANDOX MultiSTAT <br />ANALYZER MACHINE, SUPPLIES, and SOFTWARE <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD) wishes to <br />purchase a Randox MultiSTAT Analyzer machine, supplies and software; <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The total purchase price is $69,005.68; <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The Randox MultiSTAT Analyzer is a toxicology machine capable of <br />detecting numerous substances in blood and urine samples, including a <br />significant number of controlled substances; <br /> <br />WHEREAS: KCPHD, in collaboration with other county departments, and pursuant to <br />data sharing agreements to ensure compliance with applicable data privacy <br />laws, will utilize the toxicology machine to collect local data on substance <br />use; <br /> <br />WHEREAS: KCPHD will allow usage by other county departments of the toxicology <br />machine, in furtherance of those departments’ duties and responsibilities; <br /> <br />WHEREAS: This purchase shall be made in accordance with applicable county <br />procurement policies and procedures; <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Funding for this purchase has been identified and is available within the <br />existing budget allocated to the Kittitas County Public Health Department; <br /> <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Kittitas County Board of <br />Commissioners authorizes KCPHD to purchase the Randox MultiSTAT Analyzer <br />machine, supplies and software. <br /> <br /> <br />Dated this _____________ day of____________, 2025, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />
