BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025 - _____ <br />A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE EXECUTION OF LEASE AGREEMENTS <br />BETWEEN KITTITAS COUNTY AND APS, INC. AND FP MAILING SOLUTIONS <br />FOR THE UPPER DISTRICT COURT POSTAGE MACHINE <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, pursuant to RCW 36.32.120 and 36.40.100, <br />must review and approve any contracts that do not contain an appropriations <br />clause, which allows the government tocancel the contract if funding for said <br />contract becomes an issue; and <br />WHEREAS, Upper Kittitas County District Court is due to renew the agreements with FP <br />Mailing Solutions and APS, Inc. for sixty (60) months each for the continued <br />lease of its postage machine; and <br />WHEREAS, the agreement with APS, Inc. isfor the Postbase VISION A5 Auto Feeder Sealer <br />with Integrated Scale (equipment only) for $50.00 per month plus tax, and an <br />agreement with FP Mailing Solutions for the same machine, for $48.00 per <br />month; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board has reviewed these agreements and determined that the Upper Kittitas <br />County District Court is authorized to execute (sign) these agreements with APS, <br />Inc. and FP Mailing Solutions, which are attached hereto and incorporated by <br />reference. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas <br />County, Washington, hereby authorize execution of the attached Agreements upon signature by <br />the parties. <br />DATED this __________ day of ____________________, 2025, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Chair <br />Vice-Chair <br />Page 1of 2
