Kittitas County <br />Public Health Department <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />May 6, 2025 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves a Resolution to approve a PSA with HopeSource <br />for the Senior Support and Advocacy Program. (Effective dates: 01/01/2025-12/31/2026) <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Contractor agrees to provide rental assistance, case management, and connection to support <br />services to an average of 37 Kittitas County seniors annually. <br />Participants must be a resident of Kittitas County, 65 years of age and older, at 50% Area <br />Median Income (AMI) or below, and who otherwise cannot pay for or are struggling to pay for <br />their rent. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Kittitas County Prosecutors: Reviewed and approved 04.02.25. <br />Kittitas County Auditors: Reviewed and approved 04.02.25. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves a Resolution to approve a PSA with HopeSource <br />for the Senior Support and Advocacy Program.
