KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Sheriff’s Office <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: April 1, 2025 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge Lease Agreement between Copiers <br />Northwest, Inc., and Kittitas County. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office currently has a lease agreement with <br />Copiers Northwest, Inc., for 5 machines. We have another lease for 3 <br />machines with Xerox that has recently expired. We are replacing that <br />lease with a lease from Copiers Northwest. The Sheriff’s Office has <br />conducted an evaluation of Copiers Northwest’s machines, service <br />agreements, and overall pricing vs. another vendor, and has <br />determined that Copiers Northwest, Inc., can best provide the <br />equipment and service needed. Also having all copiers from the same <br />vendor makes managing them easier. The machines are on the <br />NASPO contract, whereby a formal bid process is not needed. <br /> <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office has reviewed and approved <br />this lease agreement. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Acknowledge Lease Agreement between Copiers <br />Northwest, Inc., and Kittitas County. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Sheriff’s Office to provide a fully executed Agreement to the BOCC <br />upon signature by Copiers NW. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Command Staff <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
