KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: April 1, 2025 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request Boards approval to advertise a Request for Qualifications for <br />Professional Services for proposals from qualified consultants to provide a comprehensive review <br />and recommendations for the revision of the Kittitas County Comprehensive Solid and Hazardous <br />Waste Management Plan. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Every 5 years Kittitas County Solid Waste must review and update <br />the Kittitas County Comprehensive Solid and Hazardous Waste <br />Management Plan. Historically, the Solid Waste Department has <br />employed the assistance of an outside consultant to advise and assist <br />in Plan updates. <br /> <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br /> The Prosecutor’s office has reviewed the RFQ documents. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Recommend Boards approval to advertise a Request for <br />Qualifications for Professional Services. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br /> Original – Clerk of the Board to advertise. <br /> Return one (1) copy to Solid Waste <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Public Notice and Request for Qualifications. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Patti Stacey Solid Waste/ Facilities Director. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
