2025-03-25 MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />HR STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM, 205 W 5TH AVE., ROOM 108, ELLENSBURG <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />TUESDAY 10:00 AM 3/25/2025 <br /> <br />Board Members Present: Laura Osiadacz, Cory Wright, Brett Wachsmith <br />Others Present: Jeanne Killgore <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 10:00 AM. <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS (1 MINUTE TIME LIMIT) <br />None. <br />DISCUSSION – SALARY SURVEY <br />HR Director Killgore provided the Board with information about past employee salary surveys, noting that 2025 <br />would be a year when the County would typically conduct a survey. However, the Board implemented salary <br />survey data and significant changes to the non-union salary wage structure less than a year ago. The Board <br />expressed interest in getting finance’s perspective on the topic and will revisit the discussion at a later date. <br />DISCUSSION/DECISION – SAFETY MANUAL UPDATE <br />Director Killgore requested direction from the Board to work with Shield of Armor to review the County’s safety <br />manual and assist in necessary updates. She explained that the cost to implement updates will be approximately <br />$1,200.
