Our proposal, as discussed with <br />Patti, is to upsize the 1” service line to a 2” diameter pipe, and to upsize three of the 4 hydrants to 1 ½”. <br />The total cost of the change order is listed below and broken down on the attached spreadsheet. The only real <br />costs for this change will be in the materials, as the extra labor to install the larger piping is minimal. The <br />materials for the plan work have already been purchased and delivered to the site, therefore they have to be <br />shipped back and a 15% restocking fee paid to the supplier. The new larger diameter piping is also considerably <br />more expensive.
