BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNry OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025.o <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE INTEMGENCY <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN WASHINGTON STATE HEALTH CARE AUTHORITY AND KITTITAS <br />COUNTY JAIL FOR REENTRY DEMONTSTRATION INITIATIVE PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, RCW 39.34, the lnterlocal Cooperation Act, provides the capability for public <br />agencies to cooperate by providing services and facilities for mutual advantage; and <br />WHEREAS, The Washington State Health Care Authority wishes to designate the Kittitas <br />County Jail to furnish the necessary personnel, equipment, material and/or service(s) and <br />otherwise do all things necessary for or incidental to the performance of work set forth: and <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County is desirous of accepting funds under the terms and conditions <br />mutually agreed upon by the parties to develop and implement a reentry demonstration <br />initiative; and <br />WHEREAS, The governing bodies of each of the parties to the lnteragency Agreement <br />attached hereto have determined to enter into this lnteragency Agreement for the period <br />from date fully executed until July 31 ,2028 unless terminated or extended upon written <br />agreement between parties; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE lT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Kittitas County, Washington authorizes the execution of the <br />Amendment to lnteragency Agreement for Reentry Demonstration lnitiative project <br />lnmates that is attached hereto, and incorporated herein by this reference, and which shall <br />be forthwith filed with the Kittitas County Auditor pursuant to RCW 39.34.040. <br />ADOPTED this 4rb of tjo.uorlrl 2o2sJ <br />BOARD OF GOUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />Nry , WASHINGTON <br />acz, Chairman <br />Brett a , Commissioner <br />E FORM: <br />AS <br />tr C_lerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />{Oeputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />RESOLUTION <br />itch eputy ng Attorney
