Federal Way Discount Guns, LLC, et al. <br />King County Cause No. 22-2-20064-2-SEA <br />The Washington State Attorney General's Office (AGO) helps keep the marketplace free from <br />unfair and deceptive practices by enforcing Washington's Consumer Protection Act in state and <br />federal courts, As a result of one of these cases, State v. Federal Way Discount Guns, LLC, et al., <br />King County Cause No. 22-2-20064-2-SEA, the AGO has cy pres funds to offer local law <br />enforcement agencies. <br />Thank you for submitting an application for cy pres funding to assist your agency in promoting <br />firearms safety, combatting gun violence, or supporting victims of gun violence. This award is <br />made pursuant to the Consent Decree entered into in the above matter and RCW 19.86 and RCW <br />43.10, and all funds must be expended or returned within24 months of the date the check is issued. <br />I am pleased to offer Kittitas County Sheriffs Office the amount of $140,000 as support for your <br />important work in addressing gun violence. Please complete and retum the enclosed agreement so <br />that my office can issue the funds. Information regarding this award will be publicly disclosed. If <br />you would like to make a public announcement about this award, please provide our office with <br />the opportunity to comment in advance on the proposed media release.
