KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: 1/21/2025 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve Resolution Authorizing Contract LT-2025-001- <br />KCA-lnternal Operations-2025. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Auditor’s Office provides staff support to the <br />Kittitas County Lodging Tax Committee and Consolidated Lodging <br />Tax Committees. In 2025 the Auditors Office has requested <br />$156,244.70 in funding for operational costs. On December 4th, 2024, <br />the Kittitas County Lodging Tax met and approved this request. <br />Action is now requested from the BOCC via a formal contract. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Lodging approved the requested increase, and the <br />Prosecutors Office has worked with the Auditor on this contract. <br /> <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve Resolution Authorizing Contract LT-2025-001-KCA- <br />lnternal Operations-2025. <br /> <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Bryan Elliott, County Auditor <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
