KITTITAS COUNTY <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SERVICES <br />AGENDA ITEM STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: January 21', 2025 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing for February 4`h, 2025, at 2:00 pm <br />for the Board of County Commissioners to re -consider the Ranch at Swauk <br />Creek Development Agreement (DA-24-00001). <br />BACKGROUND: CDS staff is requesting to set a public hearing for February 4 h, at <br />2:00 p.m. for the Board of County Commissioners to re -consider the <br />Ranch at Swauk Creek Development Agreement (DA-24-00001). The <br />Ranch on Swauk Creek Development Agreement was originally approved <br />on September 171b, 2024, through Resolution 2024-165. Subsequent <br />review identified scrivener's errors regarding parcel numbers and statutes. <br />A lengthy discussion with our Prosecuting Attorney resulted in a <br />recommendation to make these corrections and hold a hearing for <br />successive approval. <br />A staff report containing a corrected development agreement and <br />resolution will be provided prior to the public hearing. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing for February 4th, at 2:00 pm to Consider the <br />staff revisions to DA-24-00001 and Resolution. <br />HANDLING: Return one Notice of Public Hearing to Community Development <br />Services. <br />ATTACHMENTS: None <br />LEAD STAFF: Chad Bala, Director <br />
