BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025- <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FUNDING FOR AN AWARD FROM THE ATTORNEY GENERAL <br />OF WASHINGTON, CONSUMER PROTECTION DIVISION, THAT WAS ALLOCATED TO <br />LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT TO HELP PROMOTE FIREARMS SAFETY UNDER RCW 19.86 <br />AND RCW 43.10. <br />WHEREAS, the Attorney General of Washington's, Consumer Protection Division has Cy <br />Pres funding awarded to local law enforcement agencies for firearms safety under RCW 19.86 and <br />RCW 43.10; and <br />WHEREAS, the funds awarded are designed to support all aspects of firearms safety and <br />will be used to provided secure storage of firearms while in the custody of the Kittitas County <br />Sheriff's Office; and <br />WHEREAS, the award will allow Kittitas County Sheriff's Office to securely store more <br />firearms in a small amount of space, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, that this Award <br />from the Attorney General of Washington to the Kittitas County Sheriff's Office be accepted. <br />ADOPTED this day of <br />2025. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Chairman <br />Vice -Chair <br />Commissioner <br />ATTEST: APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />1_� �k*2'L. <br />Douglas R.
