BOARD OF COLTNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COI.INTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025 - O Lo <br />DISBANDING OF THE ROAD STANDARDS REVIEW COMMITTEE <br />WHEREAS:The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) declared all boards and <br />committees operating under the direction of the Board of County Commissioners subject <br />to open public meeting act requirements in Resolution 2017-153; and <br />WHEREAS: The BOCC did give Public Works direction to formulate an informal Road Standards <br />Review Committee in 2018; and <br />WHEREAS: The Committee proceeded to review and revise Title 12 Roads and Bridges until <br />circumstances tied to the pandemic held up the project; and <br />WHER"EAS: The BOCC did give Public Works direction to reformulate an informal Road Standards <br />Review Committee at the November 22,2022,Public Works Study Session; and <br />WHEREAS: The work program by the Road Standards Review Committee has guided efforts to <br />update Title 12 of Kittitas County Code, with ultimate adoption of an updated Title 12; <br />and <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners at this time has elected to disband the Road <br />Standards Review Committee effective January 7,2025. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best interest <br />of the public, does hereby disband the Road Standards Review Committee. <br />DATED this 7th day of January 2025, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS , WASHTNGTON <br />Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />n Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />V
