BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2024. g.I5 <br />AWARD SURFACE TRANSPORTATION BLOCK FUNDS TO THE CITY OF <br />ELLENSBURG AND TO THE CITY OF CLE ELUM <br />WHEREAS: Federal Transportation Funding is available to local agencies via the <br />Surface Transportation Block Grant (STBG) program administered by <br />Kittitas County Department of Public Works; and <br />WHEREAS: A Surface Transportation Block Grant application has been received from <br />the City of Ellensburg and from the City of Cle Elum; and <br />WHEREAS: The total money available for award for a three-year cycle from STBG <br />funding is $2,592,621 .00 <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in <br />the best interest of the public, does hereby award to the City of Ellensburg <br />$I,878,207.00 in Surface Transportation Block Grant funds supporting the <br />Vantage Highway Shared Use Pathway; and <br />FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best interest <br />of the public, does hereby award to the City of Cle Elum $714,414.00 in <br />Surface Transportation Block Grant funds supporting the First Street and <br />Oakes Avenue Resurfacing project <br />DATED on this ITthday of December,2024, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COT]NTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, <br />w GTON <br />Chairman <br />of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />ice-Chairman <br />n Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz\M) <br />U- <br />Cory W !ht, Commissioner
