KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: December 17, 2024 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Approve an Agreement between the City of Cle Elum and <br />Kittitas County to provide Library Services to County <br />Residents for the Year 2025. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners approved <br />$39,000.00 in the 2025 budget for the City of Cle Elum to <br />provide library services to County residents living outside <br />the city limits for the period January 1, 2025, through <br />December 31, 2025. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Agreement has been approved by the Prosecutors <br />office (#11084), and the budget amount has been verified <br />with Zack DeHaven, Assistant Finance Director. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve and authorize the Board to sign an Agreement <br />between Kittitas County and the City of Cle Elum to <br />provide library services to County residents in the amount <br />of $39,000.00 for the period beginning January 1, 2025, <br />through December 31, 2025. <br /> <br />HANDLING: 1 – Copy Clerk of the Board <br /> 2 originals to the City of Cle Elum for signature <br /> Original to Clerk of the Board and a copy to Auditor’s <br />office upon fully executed Agreement. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: 2025 Library Services Agreement between Kittitas County <br />& the City of Cle Elum. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board <br />
