BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2024-______ <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF <br />KENNEWICK AND KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON FOR CONTRACTED BANKING SERVICES <br /> WHEREAS, RCW 39.34, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, provides the capability for public <br />agencies to cooperate by providing piggybacking options on awarded contracts; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Treasurer published a Request for Proposal for Banking Services <br />on March 1st, 2024, and awarded the contract to US Bank, beginning September 1st, 2024; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Kennewick wishes to piggyback on the terms of the contract the Kittitas <br />County Treasurer awarded to US Bank for Banking services, through September 1st, 2027, and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, <br />Washington authorizes the execution of the Interlocal Agreement for the Piggybacking of Contracted <br />Banking Services that is attached hereto, and incorporated herein by this reference, and which shall be <br />forthwith filed with the Kittitas County Auditor pursuant to RCW 39.34.040. <br />Adopted this ______ day of ______________ 2024. <br /> <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br />_____________________________ <br />Brett Wachsmith, Chairman <br />Attest: <br />_____________________________ _____________________________ <br /> Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik Laura Osiadacz, Vice-Chairman <br /> Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br /> _____________________________ <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
