KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: December 3, 2024 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution authorizing execution of an <br />Interlocal Agreement between Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office and Washington Traffic <br />Safety Commission. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The purpose of this Interlocal Agreement is to provide overtime <br />funding for high visibility enforcement (HVE), traffic safety emphasis patrols, and <br />related activities in support of Target Zero priorities. The two agencies have worked <br />cooperatively on this project for more than 10 years. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: This Interlocal Agreement was reviewed and approved by the Kittitas <br />County Prosecutor’s Office. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve a Resolution authorizing execution of an Interlocal <br />Agreement between Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office and Washington Traffic Safety <br />Commission. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Please return 1 signed original to KCSO. <br /> <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Command Staff
