KITTITAS COUNTY FRIENDS OF ANIMALS <br />Applicant: Kittitas County Friends of Animals (KCFOA) <br />Project Title: Promoting Mental Health Through Companion Animal Veterinary Support <br />Target Population: Youth, Veterans <br />Description: Provide mental health services in the form of funding for veterinary services to <br />companion animals of the target population who cannot afford care for their animals. The budget is <br />relatively small for the impact it would have for 100 residents per year. <br />Strengths: This was a tight budget for a very focused project. The applicant has already provided <br />this service in Kittitas County to a limited number of pet owners. <br />Advisory Board Comments: Attention should be placed on sustainability in the future as these <br />funds would be nonrenewable. <br />Requested Budget: $60,000 <br />Advisory Board Recommended Budget: $60,000 <br />
