BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2024 - <br />AUTHORIZING THE FLOOD CONTROL ZONE DISTRICT ADMINISTRATOR <br />TO SIGN EASEMENT DOCUMENTS WITH OENONE KINMAN <br />WHEREAS: Public Works has negotiated funding from DR Horton satisffing final plat <br />conditions for phases one and two of the Black Horse at Whiskey Creek <br />final plat mitigating for impacts to Whiskey Creek; and <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Flood Control Zone District has negotiated an <br />easement along Whiskey Creek across lands owned by Ms. Oenone <br />Kinman; and <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners have been briefed on <br />the proposed easement acquisition and directed staff proceed to secure the <br />proposed Whiskey Creek easement; and <br />WHEREAS: Acquisition funding is in the Flood Control Zone District2}24 fund <br />budget and is available for expenditure; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: The Board of County Commissioners, after <br />due consideration, does hereby authorize the Flood Control Zone District Administrator <br />to acquire an easement from Ms. Oenone Kinman in the amount of $75,000.00. <br />DATED this 4th day of June 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COLTNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS CO WASHINGTON <br />Brett Chairman <br />Julie Kjorsvik <br />tr Deputy Clerk.of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />ABSTAINED <br />0/r 1 <br />CO <br />tteb&\L <br />bY <br />7 <br />Cory Wright, Commtssloner
