Kittitas County <br />Solid Waste <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />10/15/2024 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Request Boards approval for Chairs signature on Change Order No. 1 for the Lower Valley Transfer Station. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Kittitas County Solid Waste went out to bid the the construction of the Lower Valley Transfer Station and <br />received two bids. The contract was awarded to Belsaas and Smith Construction for the base bid and <br />Alternate number 2. <br /> <br />In working with the Board of County Commissioner and the Finance Department funding was approved for <br />adding in Alternative bid item No. 1 which will had the administration building to the new transfer station <br />site. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Board of County Commissioners and Finance Department. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Recommend Board of County Commissioners approval for Chairs signature on Change order No. 1 for the <br />Lower Valley Transfer Station. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br />Return a signed copy to Solid Waste. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Patti Stacey <br />
