10/01/2024 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />AUDITORIUM <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />TUESDAY 2:00 P.M. OCTOBER 1, 2024 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith and Commissioner <br />Cory Wright. Excused: Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Mandy Buchholz, Office <br />Administrator; Cameron Curtis, Engineer; Stephanie Hartung, Chief <br />Civil Deputy Prosecutor; and Josh Fredrickson, Public Works <br />Director. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING 6-YEAR TIP PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />At approximately 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH opened a Public <br />Hearing to consider adopting the Six-Year Transportation Improvement <br />Program for 2025-2030. <br /> <br />CAMERON CURTIS, ENGINEER, presented the Six Year Transportation <br />Improvement Plan for the years 2025-2030. He said there was no <br />public who showed up to their Open House, nor did they receive any <br />written comments on the proposed plan. He indicated the plan was <br />based on the Road Levy being passed in the upcoming election, and if <br />it does not pass, it will need to be altered at a later date. <br /> <br />THERE BEING NO PUBLIC IN ATTENDANCE TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION <br />OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2024-172 6-YEAR TIP PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER WRIGHT moved to approve Resolution No. 2024-172, <br />Adopting a Six-Year Transportation Improvement Plan for the Years <br />2025-2030. CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH seconded.
