BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUiloN NO. 2024- | ?7 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN CENTRAL WASHINGTON UNIVERSIry AND KITTITAS COUNry JAIL FOR THE <br />MAT PROGMM EVALUATOR <br />WHEREAS, RCW 39.34, the lnterlocal Cooperation Act, provides the capability for public <br />agencies to cooperate by providing services and facilities for mutual advantage; and <br />WHEREAS, Central Washington University wishes to designate Dr. Roger Schaefer to do <br />all things necessary for or incidental to the performance of the duties of Program Evaluator <br />as set for: and <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County has been awarded additionalfunding to develop and <br />implement an evidence-based medication assisted treatment program; and <br />WHEREAS, the governing bodies of each of the parties to the lnterlocal Agreement <br />attached hereto have determined to enter into this lnterlocal Agreement for the period from <br />date fully executed until September 30,2026 unless terminated or extended upon written <br />agreement between parties; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE lT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Kittitas County, Washington authorizes the execution of the lnterlocal <br />Agreement for the MAT Program Evaluator that is attached hereto, and incorporated <br />herein by this reference, and which shall be forthwith filed with the Kittitas County Auditor <br />pursuant to RCW 39.34.040. <br />(1,*day of 2024 <br />BOARD OF ISSIONERS <br />co HINGTON <br />Chairman <br />lr <br />right, Commissioner <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM <br />? <br />Douglas R. <br />ADOPTED this <br />p'&lerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />n Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mand <br />cor <br />Crrun <br />RESOLUTION <br />y Buchholz <br />itchell, Deputy Prosecuting Attorney
