BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO J 0 &r/-0 b3 <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN THE KITTITAS COUNTY BOARD OF COI]NTY COMMISSIONERS ANI) <br />KITTITAS COI]NTY PARI$ AND RECREATION DISTRICT NO. 1 AND ACCEPTING <br />THE QUIT CLAIM DEED FOR THE EVERGREEN SNOPARI( <br />WIIEREAS:Washington State allows interlocal agreements between counties <br />and special use districts pursuant to Revised Code of Washington <br />Chapter 39.34 (Interlocal Cooperation Act); and <br />WHEREAS:The Kittitas Board of County Commissioners and the <br />Commissioners of Kittitas County Parks and Recreation District No. 1 <br />desire entering into a Memorandum of Agreement for the purpose of <br />conveying the deed to the Evergreen SnoPark; and <br />WHEREAS:The Kittitas Board of County Commissioners and the Commissioners do <br />agree to the roles and responsibilities contained in the agreement in <br />consideration ofaccepting the deed to the Evergreen SnoPark. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: The Board of County Commissioners, after due <br />consideration, does hereby authorize the Chair to sign the interlocal agreement with <br />Kittitas County Parks and Recreation District No. l. <br />NOW, BE IT FURTHERRESOLVED: The Board of County Commissioners does authorize <br />the Director of Public Works to sign the deed accepting the Evergreen SnoPark on behalf of the <br />county from Kittitas County Parks and Recreation District No. l. <br />DATED this l6th day of April 2024, atEllensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COTINTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS A <br />Chairman <br />ABSENTBoard- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Vice-Chairman <br />n Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Laura <br />right, Commissioner
