KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: October 1, 2024 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Hold a Public Hearing to consider the adoption of the <br />Six Year Transportation Improvement Program for 2025- <br />2030 <br />BACKGROUND: Public Works has prepared the Six Year Transportation <br />Improvement Program for 2025-2030. <br />Each year Public Works solicits public comment on the six - <br />year transportation improvement program. This year, <br />Public Works conducted two open house meetings one on <br />September 4, 2024, in Upper County and one on September <br />5, in Lower County. In addition to the open house format, <br />the six -year and annual plan is posted on the Public Works <br />webpage along with a comment form. No changes to staff s <br />proposals are necessary based on public comment which <br />was received. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Hold a Public Hearing to consider adopting the Six Year <br />Transportation program for 2025-2030. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution for Adoption of the Six Year Transportation <br />Improvement Program for 2025-2030 <br />LEAD STAFF: Cameron Curtis, County Engineer. <br />
