KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF'S OFFICE <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: September 3rd, 2024 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Amending the Professional <br />Services Agreement between Comprehensive Healthcare and Kittitas County to Add an <br />additional Mental Health Counselor. <br />BACKGROUND: This is a resolution for an amendment to the contract between KCJ <br />and Comprehensive Healthcare. The FY22 BJA Mental Health Collaboration Grant KCJ <br />allows that after the program guide was approved recently to hire a second Therapist <br />(referred to Mental Health Counselor in contracts) for the remainder of the grant period. <br />This amendment is correcting the dollar amount to the budget for the additional MHC <br />and updating the contractors physical and mailing addresses. <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has reviewed and <br />approved the amended agreement. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve a Resolution Amending the Professional <br />Services Agreement between Comprehensive Healthcare and Kittitas County to Add an <br />additional Mental Health Counselor. <br />HANDLING: Please return one fully executed original to the Sheriff s Office. <br />LEAD STAFF: LT.
