KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />August 20, 2024 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Request to Approve a Professional Service Agreement with Tenelco, <br />Inc and Kittitas Couty for Ryegrass land application. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br /> Solid Waste went out to bid on July 16th, 2024, for septage land <br />application services and on August 1st, 2024, at 2:00pm the bids were <br />opened. Tenelco, Inc. was the only bidder. <br /> Solid Waste is requesting approval of the professional service <br />agreement (PSA) between Kittitas County and Tenelco, Inc. This PSA <br />is for Tenelco to land apply septage on DOE approved fields at the <br />Ryegrass facility. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br /> The Prosecutor’s office has reviewed the PSA. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Approve the PSA between Kittitas County and Tenelco, inc. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br /> Original – Clerk of the Board <br /> Copy – Auditor <br /> <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br /> Professional Service Agreement. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br /> Doug Laurent HHW Coordinator <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
